How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good. I stayed with my boyfriend, and that's always nice. <3 Yesterday morning we went to a big outdoor flea market in Alabama. So many puppies that wanted me to take them home!!!! I can't wait until we have our own place so we can get a dog. Hopefully in the next few months, we can make that happen. Need money for that first... hahaha
So I started playing Dead Island! It's pretty awesome. I definitely love games where you can loot (I miss Bioshock and Borderlands!!!). I have never owned a zombie game, surprisingly. Sure I've played against zombies before in games that aren't specifically zombie games, but I've never purchased a game known for the zombies. So it's pretty exciting. I'm not that far yet, I've only played a few hours since opening it, but so far I really like it. It holds my attention, and I'm never picky with games.
Tomorrow morning I have to go get a physical for my new job, and then fill out the new employee paperwork. I don't start until October 10, which kind of sucks, but is necessary since I have those clinicals starting next week. So, I won't actually have money until probably at least a month from now (I'm not sure what day is payday for this company, but I do know you're paid biweekly). I'm not gonna be able to go visit my boyfriend pretty much at all until I have more gas money. Sad! But oh well, I guess that's part of life. I'm not going to ask my parents for money, I refuse to do that.
I found a cool website called recellular.com where I can sell my old iPhone. I should hopefully get $80 for it (fingers crossed) if it's in "normal" condition. I dropped it in potato soup once upon a time, but I cleaned it out really well and it worked fine after I did that, the only thing is one of the speakers on the bottom doesn't work anymore. I'm hoping they still consider it in normal condition, because everything else works just fine. I could really use the money!
Anyways, I guess that's all for now.

Any particular breed of dog that you'd like to have?

Well, my mom raises yellow labs so I've always been partial to them. My boyfriend really likes bulldogs and bloodhounds, and most of the pups we saw yesterday were chihuahua mixes and mutts. I'm an all-around animal lover, so I'm not too picky, but we'll probably end up getting a pup from my mom.
