Im so fucking confused
Aperantly at my job, it is best to be late in order to get benifits....
Explenation, I work in a supermarket, on the front end. Im a cashier. lanes are numbered 1 - 18. 1 is the lane all the way at the far end of the store, neglected unless it is SUPER buissy, There are 5 lanes that are "special" 14 is reverse, meaning you face the oposite way and the track is on the other side, it is also express 15 and under. 15 is normal, however creates a larger isle, being that 14 is reverse. 16 is 15 items or under and 17 and 18 are 7 items or under. Logicly most people want to run those registers....they are less hectic and so on.
My plight, I came in 1/2 hour early, punched in on time and ended up on lane 10.... another person came in 10 mins late and ended up on lane 9. two people left 1/2 hour after my shift started and one person came in meaning one of the two of the ones that came in at noon would have to move down...me or the kid who was LATE.... yea, he moves down, to an express lane and he gets to take a break from the hectic cashiering (granted its not THAT bad, but after 2 hours of constant work, with little lower body movement its nice...) and do menial tasks......
I feel cheated and disheartened....there is NO benifit at my job to being prompt and on time.....
