Becoming A piece, of everything that grows
Some numbers, A name, to indicate you played the game
Came empty handed and left the same
A soul is A soul and A shell is A shell
The border in between is full of everything you felt
Some cling to A cross because they're tired and lost
They leave it...

I'm well...hope you are too.

Awwwh, poor Tjaden biggrin
Yes, as Queen of the Pillywiggins I can think of a lot of fun ways to pass weekends. One of which is drinking whiskey, but in moderation. wink

I gotta wholeheartedly agree about the large family gatherings vs. bullshitting with buddies. This year's afforded us rather a rare opportunity to opt out of the usual festivities, which does much for my lack-of-stress level and general looking forward to the holiday. Now it means 4 days off from work, and getting to see a lot of the people I choose to see.

back from the "Weekend of Naps and Tea"... which consisted mostly of naps, tea, and lots of good wholesome food...

there's lots of good news to be shared: i am now in the position of more gainful employment, a photograph of mine has been published in a semi-major newspaper (though, they didn't give me credit... grr), and i got props from the teller at the...

I'm leaving your journal a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Sorry, I can't cook. smile

Your website is cool. I love the brightly colored pictures. And Moonlight is very nice.

well... the family invasion has begun, and i've successfully managed to not be in the house for more than 35 minutes at a time. (not counting sleeping time - one doesn't have to explain how a thermostat works while they're asleep, thank god). the next wave arrives this weekend, which i've managed to negotiate an exit visa to go visit my dad's side of the...

alyssum:
Actually, strangely enough so have I. (Smiling, that is) smile

I've managed to negotiate an exit visa too, to sit here and not even think about the holidays. Which, again strangely enough, makes me very happy.

Sometimes... all you need is a PS2, GT3, a beer, a pizza, and a good friend... and life becomes blissfully simple.

In other news... some family is arriving some time today to say here through Xmas... so wish me luck and sanity!

biggrin

p.s. what's on your Xmas list?

For Jesus' birthday I would like [insert debaucherous oversharing], but I'll settle a beer, a pizza, and a good friend.
