Hello hello! I just have to say that so far 2014 has been most excellent. I spent this weekend in a super secluded cabin in the Smokey Mountains, close to Gatlinburg, TN. It was beautiful. The view was absolutely breathtaking! The cabin was named Bearfoot Memories and there were bears everywhere inside, adorable. Spent the days playing pool, reading, listening to music, and cooking. And the evenings were spent under the stars, with a bottle of wine, in a hot tub. Perfection! The stars were my favourite part. Living in the city I'm lucky to see a couple each night, so it was a welcome change. I didn't take many photos, but here are a couple.

Honestly, I could go on listing sets all day. There are so many fabulous ones in MR right now. But yeah, those are a few I am quite fond of. What are your favourite sets at the moment? I try to look at all of them. but some get missed, so I love seeing other peoples favourites!
I've been able to catch a few Olympic events so far, but what I'm really excited about is men's hockey! I love seeing all the NHL players playing for their home countries. I grew up in Ottawa so I'm Team Canada all the way! The winter Olympics are way better than the summer ones, at least to me. As far as Olympic moments go, watching Alex Bilodeau win his second gold in free style skiing, and the celebration that followed, well really it was mostly the celebration that really hit me in the feels. Alex ran up to his brother, who has cerebral palsy, and pulled him over the security fence so that they could celebrate together. I don't think I've ever seen someone look as happy as his brother did.
I got an unexpected day off work yesterday due to snow(which it didn't even start snowing until today, but I'll take it!), so I went to the movies and saw The Lego Movie. It was pretty funny, and super cute. Spaceship!! And since I have a snow day again today, I'll be having a Game of Thrones marathon to get pumped for season 4 in April! Weeeee!!!
