Hopefuls Log. Stardate 91424.52
Alright guys and dolls, here it is, a big old photo drop of all the fun things I've gotten myself into the last few weeks. Most of these pictures are from my trip to Canada to visit my family for Thanksgiving, which was just amazing! I spent most of my trip hanging out on my family's 400 acre farm in Ontario. The trees are absolutely beautiful this time of year, and the weather was perfect. We picked apples, crunched through leaves, chased a bunch of wild turkey's, went on four wheeler rides, shot of fireworks, and star-gazed all night. It was a vacation well spent. BUT! Before diving into all that, I would like to share something I got back from Alexander Sikwitit just the other morning, can't wait to see the rest from this shoot.
Now on to the Great White North! Firstly, a bunch of photos from all the farm activities. A little fun fact for you, my family actually built this house in the 70's to use as a hunting cabin, and then expanded it throughout the years. They even chopped down the trees themselves! -Insert Canadian lumberjack joke-
My Grammy is still a mean cooking machine.
Had a game night with my sister, brother in law, and other Canadian pals. It was my first time playing Cards Against Humanity So. Much. Fun.
Shredder is my backseat buddy forever.
POUTINE!!!! The food of the gods. I wish there was somewhere in the South I could get this. It is a constant craving of mine.
And while we're on the subject of food, my dad took me to the most amazing vegetarian buffet.. drool. He said that he'd never seen me put so much food on my plate before. In turn I told him he'd never taken me to a vegetarian buffet before. I still dream of eating this whole plate again.
And just like that it was time to leave. After many hugs and tears I boarded the plane with my head low. The hardest part about saying goodbye to my family is not knowing when I'll see them again. But, at least when I got home I was greeted by my two favourite boys and was soon buried in kitty cuddles!
Last week I not only had my sleeve worked on, I experienced my first rib tattoo. After the first few lines it wasn't so bad. Although, I just got some script, and it only took thirty minutes, I would imagine a huge rib piece would be much more painful. I'm already itching for my next one, and to finally finish my sleeve.. I'm so close!
Last weekend was The Great Decatur Craft Beer Festival! I went with three of my favourite people, and we all had a blast! I've gone to this fest every year since I turned 21 and it just gets bigger and better every year!
The next day we walked to a nearby brunch place and enjoyed waffles and $10 bottomless mimosas. The perfect end to a great weekend.

Hiked up Racist Mountain, aka Stone Mountain, last week. It felt great and seems to be becoming a weekly thing. I love the weather right now in Georgia, it's so refreshing after months of heat and humidity. Although there are things I enjoy about summer, I am definitely not a summer person.
On Thursday my bra matched my pants! And I realized again that I may be overdue for a little trim trim.
Annnnnnd I picked out my pumpkin, which I can't wait to carve tonight while watching Friday the 13th.. you know the best one.. where Jason is in Manhattan. God how I love a good/shitty scary movie.
That about wraps it up for now peeps! I've got some really fun stuff planned for the next few weeks. And I will be shooting with @alissa and @radeo while they are here in Atlanta next month. Eeeks! Cannot wait for that! Oh, and I will be attending the Burlesque show at the Masquerade next month as well! If you haven't yet, go get your tickets, it's going to be an awesome show!
