Great blog. Im in a similar situation and have had some of those same thoughts alot recently. The only answer that Ive found came through a poem by Kahlil Gibran. I wrote a blog about it. But at its heart, is this one phrase. "Love possesses not nor would it be possessed:" hope it helps.
