DEAR FRIENDS!
I need your help. As some of you may have read, my dearest friend has made a short video for a local business featuring two of the countries hottest burlesque performers. This video is in the running for a $10000 prize, as well as becoming a new advertisement for the company.
So We need your vote!!! The other videos were produced by males,...

I'm pretty sure the sando still does live music, I really wouldn't know though because I don't do music.
jovankat:
Lack of interest. I just don't get into bands in a big way. I mean I like listening to music and all but its not something I take a particularly *active* interest in.I also find live music particularly annoying because it never sounds as good as the album and there are annoying sweaty tall people and often bad lighting that makes me very angry. Its something I feel kinda bad about sometimes. I really wish I was one of those cool musicy people but I'm just not. I've even been through a couple of phases where I try really hard to be up to date with new music and stuff but it probably shouldn't be something you have to work at.
Oh FFS, can't something go right just once?
One time, just once!
sigh.

My BFF made this video for Honey Birdette, a local lingerie store and 'Sensuality Boutique'. It features 2 friend of ours, Miss Bertie Page and her scorchin' Scarlet Grinder, Red Devotchkin.
Please take the time to watch it, and like/add to favourites on youtube, and if you are lovely, leave a comment?
It would mean the world to me.

Holy. Mother-fucking. Jesus.
KYUSS ARE PLAYING IN AUSTRALIA IN 2011!!!!! 3/4 of the original lineup, sans Josh Homme (i guess he's too busy making mediocre pop records with QOTSA or something). LIVE.
AT THE TIVOLI.
*mops up trouser mess*
I am a wee bit excited.

TNG is my fave! I haven't seen any TOS other than clips here and there, but I most definately want to!
And yes, Enterprise is definitely not worth it.
Haven't seen the others though, I plan to eventually.

Why on earth would a singer in a band that is otherwise really good deliberately sound like Maynard James Keenan?
I'm sorry folks, but rock vocalists need balls, and shouldn't be sang by a gelding. Rachel has more ballsy vocals than he does, and she's a girly girl!!!!
(For clarification, I am specifically referring to the inane whining sound of Keenan, and the guys that...

Who knows?

The thing I was getting excited about has been indefinitely delayed. This SUCKS.
The hopeful part is that things still shall happen, just not when I thought they would, and a few cool events will probably be missed.
The January road trip to Sydney is full steam ahead. Alison & Mindi got their tickets for the Amanda Palmer show at the Opera house, and...

I am envious of your traveling, especially due to it being road trip style. Therefore, you must post many pictures to appease me.

Excellent work! I have always preferred original ideas as opposed to the pre-fab, mass produced garbage the shops try to molest us with every year.
I'm doing well. Good friends, laughter and conversation that takes strange and interesting turns are always the best remedy for me. Thank you for the wonderful comment.

Rage!
The second in a string of live music venues has announced it will cease trading towards the end of this month. This is really sad, as The Troubadour is kinda synonymous with live music here in Brisbane. The number of bands I'd hear of playing 'The Troub' while living in Sydney was staggering.
It really pisses me off. Why, I hear you ask?
Because...
