I've been on a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge gothic rock and industrial bender this past fortnight. Even more than usual, mostly acquiring stuff I've never gotten around to listening to. It's kind of fitting that as I am typing this I am wearing my purple pyjama pants with bats all over them

For one like I just made, probably about $60. I need a new loom first though.
And definitely check out pandora. It's free. It takes a bit to set up because you have to "program" it, basically by giving a thumbs up or thumbs down to every song it plays until it figures out what you actually like. But once you do that for a while, it's really good about introducing new stuff. I've discovered a lot of new stuff that way.

Guess who's sick of 'out of the box' samples and loops? I know from experience it is NOT difficult to physically sample things, mess with them a little and arrange them into rhythmic patterns. I need more RAM. Itunes is having a difficult time coping with 80+ gigs of music. Fucking computers. Still, it'll be nice to be able to upgrade to Adobe CS4.... Photoshop in 3d!
