I bought Peter Murphy's new album 'Ninth' this evening.
It is *REALLY* good. Not as good as his magnum opus, 'Dust', but so much better than his previous solo outing. It made a lot of sense, sonically, following the final Bauhaus record, and his voice is just as mesmerising as ever.

Yeah that's the thing we're either so deeply entrenched in friendzone that it hasn't even crossed his mind or if it has he's completely dismissed it or we're hardcore flirting. But I don't know which it is. The night before his German friend came to visit in London he asked me whether I'd had secret feelings for any of our NIDA class mates while we were studying and it felt like we were both tiptoeing around admitting we were interested in each other. Then later we were talking about friends with benefits and it seemed like we were moments away from saying "hey let's give it a go" when we got to my tube stop and he said we'd continue the conversation the next day but Frenzy was there by then. And we've talked about guys playing the long game with girls they're friends with and laying the groundwork over months or years til the time is right and then making there move and again it felt like we were talking about us. I think the only thing I can do without just blatantly asking him is waiting til he's back and getting us into a situation where if some thing is going to happen it will. So drunk basically.
