I think it's too bad that I worry more about the relationship between human beings and the natural world than I do about my own life.
I should be selfish I think, and throw my trash out the window and believe the people who say, "Well, everyone says we're running out of resources, but actually, we discover new deposits day after day."
But I can't keep thinking these two things (on top of a thousand more):
1. The new deposits are in beautiful, pristine landscape. Wilderness if you will. And excavating (I think that's spelt wrong, but I'm glad if it is), is a serious threat to our co-existence with the natural world.
2. I think, or I "hope", we are intelligent enough these days to understand that no matter how much oil deposits, forests, tin, coal, metal mines there are, this is not the way to go about it all.
I just give up on it all. My neighbor earlier today had a whole army of tree eruptors tearing up the woods behind his/our house to make sure it looked pretty, because the way the trees felt like growing was an "invasion" on his calm, beautiful brown lawn.
But I guess I should worry about my own life. Getting a job with a 401K plan and investing and working and going about my business becoming a young yuppie.
Woooooo weeeeee, I'm sorry, I just love gardens.
Did you know
I can make you
softer than shadows?
Hello,
