so I saw the new Fantastic Four yesterday, and guess what? It didn't suck. It didn't come close to sucking. There were a few moments that were ham fisted and some of the plot elements were contrived (the middle, military bit just slowed everything down) but overall it was a great take on Ultimate Fantastic Four.
I am starting to think the detractors are on Marvel's payroll. Or do I just prefer films that aren't marketed to six year olds?
At any rate, it was a much more enjoyable film experience than Avengers Age Of Ultron was. And frankly the tone and characterisation was more out of the books than the Marvel films.
Go see it without any preconceptions, you'll be a true believer.
