My trip to Salvador by Tintanankin

Since I said in a previous blog I traveled to Salvador long times ago

I was with a friend who needed my help, my friend Juno took me to every appointment at the hospital when I was so much tired; They did it for me since we met until she moved to Bahia (a state here in brazil) I couldn't say no to this help she needed ; She has two cats and you can only take one pet per ticket on the plane, so she gave me the tickets and I went with her <3

As she was fixing the house, moving and adapting, we went through a lot of trouble, we had problems with the electricity company, with the kitchen gas, and they cut off the services, we took cold showers, we got lost in the middle of the street and we walked a lot, my health was worse at the time so I was very tired and Somethimes with pain; but okay I keep all these memories in my heart. ๑(◕‿◕)๑

My friend now lives in the favela of Salvador, I stayed at her house for a week, we listened to music, we washed clothes by hand, we took care of the cats, we went to the beach a few times, we went out shopping for supplies and utensils for.

Juno is also vegan! We met on an app to meet other vegan people, so it was the first time I traveled with someone who also doesn't eat meat or drink milk, it was really incredible experience for me! I saved a lot of restaurants on Google Maps before going. we eat acarajé without shrimps in the street, but we didn't go to much but I loved it a lot to know the vegan cuisine of Salvador; My favorite in particular was the Nana veg restaurant

Everithing was extremely tasty! And I loved the experience of all-you-can-eat pizza for R$34.00! It's really accessible, I've never been to a “all-you-can-eat” that's so cheap and delicious; Everything was very pleasant but mainly to see so much diversity of people and classes in a nice restaurant (which doesn't happen in my city unfortunately). I met the owner of the restaurant I loved her and we had a very pleasant conversation about veganism.

We also visited beaches like Gamboa, Praia da Preguica, Rio Vermelho, and we went to the pelourinho, which is incredibly beautiful with a peculiar energy. We also went in am some bars and karaoke , all very nice and funny 💖
