I heard something really dumb on the radio today . Some guy was lobbying for job interview forms or something to have more "race" options besides the ordinary "Caucasian,Hispanic,African American,Asian" . I forgot what this goofball was calling himself ,, but it was some made up word jumble that he chose to refer to himself as because he apparently can't get people to pay enough attention to him with his winning personality . There were a couple of add-on stories about people who wanted to be called "Jamerican" Jamaican/American , or "New Yorican" New York / Puerto Rican . First of all , Jamerican sounds too much like Jamiroquai , who is a sucky washed up pop singer , so you really shouldn't want to be lumped into that particular group . Next...New Yorican is just DUMB . I'm not even going to go any further than that . I'm of German heritage , but you don't hear me whining to people to refer to me as "Germerican" , and St. Patrick's Day is coming up and you don't hear all of the Irish Americans asking to be called "Alcoholicans" . BAHHH - ZING!!!!

Oh , Irish Americans you are RIPE for satire . Come on . Don't get all mad Drunky O' Drinkerton . Irish folk are traditionally known as hard drinkers who occasionally like to blow up people's cars . There's nothing wrong with that . And don't try to tell me that my jab at you was unfounded . I've been to bars folks . They have a drink named an "IRISH CAR BOMB" . It's an ALCOHOLIC beverage with CAR BOMB in the title and IRISH at the beginning . I didn't make that up , so apparently other people have noticed your zany habits too . I'm not saying it's a BAD thing . I'm all for you crazy Irish hooligans going out and getting piss drunk on green beer and possibly blowing something up . Celebrate your heritage in the way that Irish people traditionally do . Me...I'm celebrating my German heritage in the traditional way . By expressing unmitigated intolerance for other people's cultures and then mocking them for it . See...EVERYBODY Wins .
