I won the lottery today!

Not the real lottery, mind you but my sock lottery. I have this theory about socks. You always lose one in either the washer or the dryer. And then what do you do with the left over sock? Throw it away? That's a waste of a perfectly good sock, unless of course it has holes in it then you should throw it away. And how much time is used/wasted folding all of the socks together? A lot! That's a lot of time wasted that could be spent doing other things, like dancing naked in your living room. Starting to see my point? No? Well read on.
I throw all of my socks into a drawer (unmatched) and in the morning I pull out two socks. If they match, it's like I won the lottery. If they don't, well, I'm colourful.

But today, my socks matched! It was very exciting. This only has happened a few times since I started the sock lottery a decade ago.

But then I started wondering, if my socks matched, does that mean I've used up all my good luck for the day?

Now, it's almost the end of the day and I'm off work and have plenty of cold beer in the fridge so I guess my hypothesis was wrong about using up all my good luck. I'm glad!

I won the lottery and still have leftover luck!!!!
