Tonight he returns to the Disko-tek.
For various reasons he feels his full recall may be a little too early.
Angst, anxiety and trepidation fills his call and makes him feel a little edgy, but along with the management requesting his presence, various promoters have been working tirelessly on him over the last couple of days persuading him of the need to make others aware of their artistes making release during the on coming weeks ahead.
The list so far looks like this,.........
Rammstein - Keine Lust single, Saturday the 12th of Feb.
Mars Volta - Frances the Mute album, Saturday the 19th of Feb.
Stereophonics - Sex. Violence. Langauge. Other., album, Saturday the 12th Of March
Beck - Guereo album, Friday the 18th of March.
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Parralyze album, Saturday the 19th of March.
Why he agreed to the Stereophonics he's not too sure ?
Ah yes he remembers, it was the dangled carrot of Beck and QOTSA the week after.
A mixed bag i'm sure you will agree, Mars Volta and Beck are the ones that appeases him and perhaps QOTSA too for those quieter moments (!).
He fully expects to come face to face with Lady 2005 for the first time since his temporary abscence, but on this occasion, abscence has not made the heart grow fonder.
And whilst she may be partially the cause of the angst, anxiety and trepidation that he feels for his return tonight, he knows it has to be braved. Better to be sooner rather than later spake the management.
In fact he is in two minds as to whether to thank her for being the key to opening up the doors that have been locked and closed for so so long. Thank her for being the one who has helped him face all that has gone before and bring everything to the surface to enable him to put the past to rest at long last.
See,....every negative has a positive aspect, well according to his counsellor anyway. Then again he could just tell her to fcuk off, but thats not really his style.
Tomorrow he returns to the gymnasium. A decision not taken lightly but one he feels he needs to address. He always feels focused bounding away on a treadmill, and thats one area that needs a little work. He is looking forward to it.
There is more but his innate ramblings have tended to be just that of late. Innate and rambles.
Things will be fine, that much he is now sure of. It has been a temporary setback and one that he did not see coming, but the future is bright. The future is yellow.

Y'know, I think I may have had yellow hair the last time I darkened the doors of your disco-tec.
Well, apart from the Hogmanay/snow episode of recent memory, but that doesn't count as I didn't drink any Tyzers.
You are lucky in your promos. I suffer under a lack of big names in the hopes that it leads to excellence through independance - although I'm savvy enough to know that'll never really work, I can always dream.
My highlights lately have been the Lucky Nine EP and the recent Even In Blackouts tour.
My past seems to be haunting me in musical form, with all my old mates forming new bands and suddenly being cool in ways I never have been. Good for them, I say, and carry on with the job of recommending their works to all and sundry.
