Right then,....i'm back from the land of the Grumps !
Sometimes these things just get to me, and whilst on the whole i'm pretty good at putting things in a bottle and sticking a cork on top,...everynow and again i find it hard to do that little lip curly up thing, and smile. I wonder if there's a tomorrow with a little bit of sunshine in it for me,..y'know ?..... I know there is really, but its that time factor of waiting for tomorrow to come is'nt it ?
So,..... in the last couple of days i've been to see Charlies Angels,....yep its only just been released over here,...and i needed me some mindless fun and entertainment. I laughed,....sorry but i quite enjoyed it, hmmm,....must remember to be deep and meaningful again one of these days ! And to be a little politically incorrect for just one moment,....Demi Moore,.... W.O.W.,.....politically incorrect moment over !
Last night i went to do some promotion work for an up and coming English band called Pink Grease at a gig. I'd been told before hand they'd described themselfs as Sheffields answer to the New York Dolls ! They've just signed to Mute records, home to the great Nick Cave,... ( the fabulous ) Goldfrapp and Depeche Mode etc etc.,..so i was quite intrigued. I have their mini album and thought it ok,....but having now seen them live,... I got me a whole new Favourite band ! They were amazing, and even tho not many people turned up due to the awful weather and thunder storms here last night, they gave a performance that would have had Elvis shakin his hips ! They're on tour now, but i aint telling you's where cos i'm keepin' em to myself for a while !
Just had my hair cut too,....first time in 10 months, all short and spikey again, gone are the flowing locks and curls ( well, they weren't really flowing that much ! ), so i need a new pic for my profile.
Right i'm off,...i got so much to do at the club this weekend,...Goldfrapp and Spineshank promotions,.. posters, flyers and badges ( ''Machine Gun Fellatio'' anyone ? ) for this that and the other to get out,...oh and i suppose i ought to put some sort of a set list together too !
Just want to say thanx to Bryn, Stacie, the wonderfully cute and acely named Gum-Stick and Mr Vampsinthe78 for popping by and being well nice. Cheers guys, you made me smile again,...hope you all have a wonderful weekend, i'll have a Vodka and red bull for you all,.....and that i can do the same for you sometime,.....

yes. new set. all im saying is that, as your Scalliwaggy self, you should greatly appreciate it
