I always wanted to be a musician. I have absolutely no musical talent. I have tried many times but although I have a mathematical mind it all baffles me. I once had a friend who is a mathematician. She told me that music for her was simple. It was all about mathematical patterns. We had lots in common and often laughed at how we were the only people we knew that sometimes thought in numbers instead of words. Where was I going with this? Oh yes, every morning when I get up I can gage my mood by whatever song is stuck in my head when I wake up. Often I am surprised by it and listen to the lyrics of the songs and realize that maybe I really only think in words when it comes to music.

Back to the math thinking. I hate the months from September through December because I often write September as 7, October as 8, November as 9 and December as 10. Damn Julius and Augustus Caesars!
