Some good news...
Acacia's lungs have started to respond. (That is her name, you guys deserve to at least know her name) I am not sure if they did a tracheotomy, but they were able to remove fluid build up from her lungs. They have shut down the lung machine and the lungs have responded and are working, a bit wet but working. She is still out, which means she is not in pain. Her mom went out and bought her a Pitt hoody that she was eyeing before the transplant.
Sid is a happy guy, at least for the last couple of days, despite the Octoberness around me. Something is coming around the bend...not sure what it is, but I like it.
I am looking forward to another charity ride this weekend. This time I am raising money for another neighbor's niece. I have not gone all out for this one. I am still trying to raise money for Acacia. It is a shorter ride (50 miles). The best part is that it actually passes by my house. That should be my last hurrah. I will now turn into a gym rat and exercise indoors. I hate that!

i raise my glass in celebration, only it's empty because... well... unless it's water, i cant really drink anything. Been feeling sorta crappy. lol.
