It's official...I have the autumn blues. I hate the shorter days. I hate the colder weather. I find nothing redeeming about the leaves dying out and falling all over my yard for me to pick up. It may be because where I spent my childhood was eternal spring. We had two seasons, dry and rainy.
If I could only convince the girl, I would move south. Maybe to Florida or New Mexico. Are there any good liberal-minded areas that are warm year-round? I cannot live with baptist nuts. There is California, but the ocean is on the wrong side.
I even talked to a recruiter the other day about getting a job in Europe (Italy or Spain). Of course the chances of that are nil to none.
Part of the problem is the neighbor's situation (nothing new) and the 2 year anniversary of the loss of my doberman girl.
On the plus side of things, work is exciting (as work can get) and you guys keeping my spirits up!

The piercing is good, my 4th time getting it done. The piercer said it would hurt more and bleed. It didn't.
