It's official...I have the autumn blues. I hate the shorter days. I hate the colder weather. I find nothing redeeming about the leaves dying out and falling all over my yard for me to pick up. It may be because where I spent my childhood was eternal spring. We had two seasons, dry and rainy.

If I could only convince the girl, I would move south. Maybe to Florida or New Mexico. Are there any good liberal-minded areas that are warm year-round? I cannot live with baptist nuts. There is California, but the ocean is on the wrong side. I even talked to a recruiter the other day about getting a job in Europe (Italy or Spain). Of course the chances of that are nil to none.

Part of the problem is the neighbor's situation (nothing new) and the 2 year anniversary of the loss of my doberman girl.

On the plus side of things, work is exciting (as work can get) and you guys keeping my spirits up!
