New England weather is not always the most cooperative. So tomorrow (Saturday) I am supposed to do a 100 mile bicycle ride. The forecast is showers all day. Since I do not enjoy being on a bike in the rain for 6 hours straight, I have decided to bag it. BUT I will be riding Sunday. The pro is that I will not be wet all day. The con is that the Sunday ride features lots of hills. I think I saw something like 5,000 ft gain in elevation and a couple of 10% grade climbs. That is a lot tougher than what I expected. We will see. On the other hand I will be thinking about my neighbor for inspiration.
By the way, nothing has changed in her situation. We are all still hoping for lungs soon!
