A lesson learned Drunken posts Bad idea. I have no idea what I was trying to convey. Probably nothing, really...

There are days ya just shouldn't get outta bed... And when I finally did, I realized I was a good hour late. (I don't use an alarm clock. The sounds they make are wrong. Just plain wrong. Unfortunately my recent alcohol supplement regiment has had an adverse effect on my body clock.)
All my sunglasses are broken, thus forcing me to wear costume Elvis shades... I don't need those stares from other motorists at that hour when I'm suffering from a hangover.
I got to work (all the way in the Valley) only to learn that I needed to make an emergency run to Santa Monica (back over the hill).
And that's when the "service engine soon" light came on...
And as I delivered the emergency package to the boss man, he asked how my day was going. I replied, "my girlfriend dumped me, my car broke down and these are the last pair of sunglasses I own." And as if God just decided that this moment needed punctuation, my cell phone "bleeped" and died...
The boss man? He just laughed... And laughed... and laughed... and laughed... and laughed... and laughed... and laughed... and laughed... and laughed ...
Thank God for FatBurger...
