Remember that goofiness I mentioned...the one that is suppose to be a cheap veil for my overall social discomfort, etc, etc?
Well, I recently took it to the extreme. Yes, yes, thank you...its is what I do. No, your right...there is nothing that I cannot take to the extreme in one form or another. Moving on
So im at the bar (obvious sign this will not end well) and the guys are giving me shit cause im not....hitting on/making an ass out of myself with the girls that are readily around. So im drunk and I have no confidence, nor do I want a one-night stand. So I decide to see how many "hot chicks" I can get rejected by in one night. No, seriously....the goal was rejection.
So I walk up to the first chick and say "Hi, so me and my friends have a bet that I cannot be rejected by 9 girls in one night. Think you can help me out?" Now, I noticed that 90% of them had no idea how to respond to this. Usually I got a smile and a confused look. Next I would say "Ok we have do this proper. Im going to use some really crappy pick up line and all you have to do is shut me down...real simple." Now they are starting to get it...its a game. So I say..(insert pick up line here) and she says, " Well, your pretty cute...you want my number?"
Ok Pause.
Keep in mind im drunk so my response is to correct her and remind her that she is to reject me or I will not accomplish my goal for the evening. She laughs and says, "ok, no." Ok I say perfect, declare her number whatever and move on to the next confused little bar girl. This happened a total of 9 times apparently and, apparently, I had a chance with a few of them....but thats just not me. Not right now anyway....and I had a good time wallowing in my own self pity and entertaining strangers...cute strangers...at the same time.
