Conciet may very well be the most damaging human trait ever. When we elevate our own self-importantace we, by default, lower the value of those around us. When the people around you have less value they become much easier to exploit and abuse...they are not your equals. Taken far enough it can destroy one's ablility to interact with others in general. The conciet puts everyone else in a disappointing light...turning the world into a dark and flawed spectrum. Eventually that darkness becomes the only reality....arrogance has spiraled out of control.
