here's an exerpt from a longer poem:
"Little Joey was very stubborn
He stayed there through the night
He didn't even come out with
The dawn's first ray of light.
For, you see, he was convinced
They waited just outside.
So patient desperate Joey
Just continued to hide."
that poem is about a young boy who is willing to die to win at hide-and-go-seek.
other victims include: a drowning victim, a traveler with worms, an entire senior class, a neglected toddler and a pet fish.
as for samples from the second comic book, all one has to do is visit the website link on my homepage to see comics that weren't in the first book.
today i ordered "rejected" by don hertzfeldt. he's a great stick figure animator and i can hardly wait for it to arrive in the mail.

i think both comparisons, from what i've seen, make some sense. i can't wait to see the whole book, they seem rad.
