today was a day of mixed blessings.
i lost a job.
i gained a job.
my temp job at the bookstore ended today, but i'm totally stoked about the new job for a lot of reasons, # 1, being that it's my dream job (i got hired as the counter bitch for my piercing shop), however there are a lot of things making me sweat now.
a. i'm afraid i'll fuck up. the guy that owns the store doesn't give many second chances.
b. i'm working with my friends which could be good and bad.
c. i had to drop a class for the job thing to work out, and though i'm still a full time student, mom isn't going to like this one bit.
HOWEVER, this job means i'm going to have MONEY!!! i'll be able to pay rent, and maybe buy something other than ramen. not only that, but i'll probably be apprenticing in a year or so. who wants to get pierced?
my first day is tomorrow. everyone cross your fingers that my brain can hold all the information that i'm going to learn...
