i'm freezing my tits off in this computer lab.
it's finally summer outside and the A/C trigger finger is pulling a little tight.
does anyone want to drive me to the fabric store? i'm woefully without transportation and i need some damn piping!
i made badass soup the other night.
here's the recipe:

Thursday's chickpea ragout soup

2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup minced green onions
1 cup diced onions
lots of minced garlic
4 diced tomatoes
2 cans (16 oz each) chickpeas/garbanzo beans
1 can chicken broth
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 package turkey kielbasa, thickly sliced
salt to taste.

heat the oil over high heat and toss in the green onions and onion. saute for 2-3 min to soften. Add all other ingredients. Bring to boil, then cover, reduce heat and keep at a low boil for 15-30 min. if you desire less liquid, boil uncovered.
serves 8 and is damn good with salad and bread.
and beer.
