so i met with my accounting professor yesterday morning and now i think i have my life in order for the next few years. a game plan at least.
-school year '05-'06 i will take off. i need to save money, turn 24 and apply for financial aid.
-maybe summer of '06 but definitely fall of '06 i will return to school to complete my spanish degree, art and business minors AND the prerequisites for the Masters of Accounting Program.
-fall '07 i will begin the Masters of Accounting Program and hopefully graduate during the spring of '08.
- i assume that i will be working part time during that year so it'll be at least another half year to a year before i'll have the intern hours required to sit for the CPA exam. consequently, i should be a registered public accountant by spring '09 at the latest, barring any unforseen pitfalls.

It's funny, when I lived in Manhattan, every stripper I knew was studying to be a CPA and stripping to put them through school...not that you're doing that, but when ever I hear CPA, I think of strippers!!
