bitchin' rad! i just found out my third set is queued. at least that doesn't mean indefinite waiting anymore. w00t! shiza, now like an evil monkey i must cling to my photographer's back in order to get a fourth set shot. bwahahahahahaha...
alright, today's entry was inspired by ticktock, who in an email mentioned something about how he was afraid my voice would be squeaky. weirdo. do i look like a squeaker to you? that's what i thought...
once a upon a time a million years ago i was returning to my seasonal place of work. in high school, there was one store in a nearby mall that would take me for every holiday rush. (RIP, they just went bankrupt and closed the store) i had worked a couple seasons there already, but at least one new employee had been hired in my absence. the first time i spoke with this employee was over the phone.
later in the season he mentioned that i didn't look a thing like what he had expected after hearing my voice. so of course i totally nagged him to tell me what he had thought i was going to look like.
turns out, (to him anyway) i sounded like a short, chubby, middle-aged black woman.
yeah, no KIDDING i didn't look like what he was expecting. needless to say, i've always found this story entertaining and i hope you do too.
