watched 'the shining' for the first time last night and finished it this morning.
after hearing about it in reference to scary things for years and years, i was expecting something much scarier. more paranormal.
i've heard it's nothing like the book, but i guess i'll see that for myself since i've borrowed the book to read as well.
same thing happened with 'silence of the lambs' for me. just wasn't as scary as i was expecting. oh well.
has anyone seen 'dr. giggles'? i tried to rent it at blockbuster the other night, but they didn't even carry it. boo...

When I first watched The Shining I freaked out. But then again this was a LONG time ago
It's one of my favorite movies, but the book is truly amazing.
