Hello again. As some of you may know I am a chef. So cooking is my speciality and since it is summer time, well that means BBQ season has started. So lets make bbq ribs. First lets slow cook the pork ribs in the slow cooker on low 8 hours, season them with a little bit of butter, sea salt and fresh crack pepper. To simmer the ribs in slow cooker I use 1 cup coca cola, apple juice and water and add 4 crush cloves of garlic with the ribs and let them cook. While that is cooking make the sauce from scratch. Puree a large onion and 6 cloves of garlic, then in a large sauce pot, heat up 1.5 tbs of olive oil and add the puree to it. Once the puree start to simmer a bit add 2tbs of each of the following cayenne, paprika and cumin then cook of for a 3 mins. Then 375 mls of ketchup and 125ml of mustard and stir in very well. While that is going on in another pot reduce a cup of apple juice and a cup of white vinegar till 300mls of liquid remains then add to the sauce. Add 1.5 cups of honey and 1/3 cup of brown sugar. Afterwards add 100 mls of Crown Royal and few dashs of worcestershire and tabasco and liquid hickory smoke (Caution very little liquid smoke add too much you might as well have add an ash tray to it). Then let the sauce simmer a little. Please note the sauce may at first appear runny almost South Carolina style don't worry this is normal cause after you simmer the sauce for 10 mins when all ingredients are in take off the heat and let it cool for a bit while stiring a every so often, the sauce will thicken up. Once that happens taste to see if the sauce is good, (the flavor profile should sweet and tangy on the inhale and on exhale it hits like a dragon). Once the sauce is done wait for the ribs to finish, once that happens sauce those babys up and throw them on the grill or over at 425, if the meat is falling off the bones that is a good sign so don't panic just gently brush with sauce and grill carefully. For oven users only 15 mins so the sauce can caramelize on the grill you to grill till both side have sexy grill marks like buch of clean X's. Then enjoy with your favorite cocktail
