I found God
In eyeliner and ink
Bathed in black satin
And blood.
He lay there
And laughed
In spite
And in rhyme
With his pain.
I found God
Wrapped in rusted metal
And sleep.
I would stretch out
Naked
Beside him
Press up against him
Move with the
Pulse of his
Faith.
I found God
Praying for
A little sanity
Looking into a
Mirror
Covered in coke
And lipstick
Truth be told-
I never looked better
one of my older poems; but still one of my favorites
In eyeliner and ink
Bathed in black satin
And blood.
He lay there
And laughed
In spite
And in rhyme
With his pain.
I found God
Wrapped in rusted metal
And sleep.
I would stretch out
Naked
Beside him
Press up against him
Move with the
Pulse of his
Faith.
I found God
Praying for
A little sanity
Looking into a
Mirror
Covered in coke
And lipstick
Truth be told-
I never looked better
one of my older poems; but still one of my favorites
