We are back from a great weekend. SoCal was great. We skated Upland on Friday for three hours before heading to my mom's in OC.
Then we ate at my favorite Mexican place, Dos Amigos, where I saw a couple of old buddies. Always kinda cool to run into old bro's like that.
Saturday was fun as well except I missed getting to ride with
hulasboy at the Orange Vans.
Inara also missed going to Medieval Times with Amina and the SGLA crew due to a turned off cell phone. She's really going to be pissed when she gets takes a look at all the pictures of the fun she missed. Next time out I think I may be taking her straight to Amina's so she doesn't miss any fun.
Sunday ruled.
We stopped to skate Upland again on the way home and after being there a half hour it got nuts. First Rune Glifberg and Chad Vogt showed up. They were followed shortly after by Salba. It was an incerdible session. Rune was tossing crails on the 14 foot extension.
A great way to end the weekend.
and hopefully we'll be able to make it back out before to long. Did I hear somebody say NorCal?

Boom for real! - that Redwood City park is like 5 miles from where I live - haven't been yet, but some of my skater buddies (ok so they are like 15 year old kids) - were talking about it this weekend
