Can you believe I was DENIED UNEMPLOYMENT?! I didn't think that happened in CA unless you sprayed pigs 'n bitches on the office wall in toxic paint.
Of course I'm going to appeal, but this is fucking RIDICULOUS! WTF? Do they deny most applicants the first time, or did the person who "represented me" at my old job make me look like I committed intentional misconduct? Yes, I was warned that further lateness could result in termination, but they told me this would only apply through June, after which my points would roll off. The fatal incident occurred in July.
But honestly, WHO CARES! People get fired for this type of shit all the time, and they RECEIVE BENEFITS!
