So I emailed the pics to the Maury show - one from my adolescent nerd days, and a Thora Zinesque shot in black lace lingerie. Surprisingly (to me), they were really into my look - even though, or perhaps because - I don't fit into the stereotypical stripper box. I didn't know the show involved confronting a bully from the past, though. It was at that point that I realized the focus would not be on any clubs I may have danced at, but rather, on exacting revenge upon my tormentors of old. I was frank with them about my PTSD, and we decided against this show, but they wanted to keep me on file for any future shows not involving confrontations. I suggested doing one on adoptees searching for their birth parents. They didn't have such a segment planned (guess that's more a Montel thing), but were open to the idea. Perhaps this moment of folly will serve to fulfill a greater plan.
