It's Ladies Night here at the Lusty Lady (yes, we have a puter in the dressing room now), and I was supposed to be on the schedule, dancing alongside embodied new stripper Goddesses. This is our amateur night, the night we audition aspiring Lusties on the very stage we grace day in and day out. (In, out, in, out, uhhh!!) But I was fired again from my amazing worker-owned co-op. I thought I was on for the closing shift last Saturday, but I was actually supposed to work the previous one... Time to appeal and grieve and collect signatures. Time to toot my own horn in hopes that some of the tooting will ring true for my coworkers, for my fate hangs in the balance of their souls. (The Egyptians weighed the souls of the departed on Ma'at's cosmic scale).
