As I was dealing with the Eviction Defense dept. this fine afternoon, I retrieved a message from a "search angel" volunteer. She had found my birth parents.
(Not geographically - she will do that when she comes back from vacation - but she found their names.) Funny, or maybe not, I dreamed of a store by that name the night before the list of candidates was handed to me by my brother.
Funny, too, about my brother. He's my adoptive brother's biological brother, and had he lived with us and not been put up for adoption (of course in that case I wouldn't be in the equation) he would be my brother, too. You see, dear member, before my parents adopted me, and before the brother I grew up with was born (we're just 6 months apart), my mom gave a baby up for adoption. We mused that my birth parents may also have adopted, as they had no more kids after me.
My adoptive parents didn't think they could have another baby after they gave their son up, which is why they arranged for my adoption. Not surprisingly, that's when my mom got pregnant.
Both my adoptive parents and my birth parents got married after giving their babies up. My adoptive mother and my birth mother have birthdays that are only a day apart. They also both have an aunt with the same *very* unusual name.
What are the odds.
Confused? I may be the only one who's not.
SO, the big question is...Should I tell them I'm a SG?
