Awesome things about New York:
1. Food
2. Public transit system/ well laid out city
3. Coffee
4. Lower east side
5. Spending a whole week checking out hot girls with my boyfriend. We can't do that as well here, because there aren't as many people walking around all the time.
6. Being surrounded by people with strong opinions on politics. Californians don't give a shit for the most part.
7. Being able to walk around in skimpy, breezy skirts and halter tops with no bra, and no one cares because you have to dress like that because it's incredibly hot.
8. Seeing my friends Cody and Ashley on their home turf- people are always more fun in their own element.
9. Protesting.
10. Bars- the couple of bars we went to (East River bar in Brooklyn and CB Gallery next to CBGB) were dark, empty, and air conditioned- perfect for an afternoon cocktail. Also both played excellent music. I can only assume all bars in NYC are like that.
