Whammy!
I got a Kitchen Aid mixer for consumersmas. My dude Mr_Reliable gave it to me.
I gave him a custom guitar strap from Amina Munster's company. It's pretty rad, if I do say so myself.
I wanted to make cookies today but we don't have baking powder and I'm not going to the store.
Later we're going to see True Grit and eat Chinese food. I just finished the novel, and it was glorious. Of course the John Wayne True Grit is also glorious. I don't really see how this new movie can fail.
On Tuesday we're going to my parents' house for christmas tacos and more gift exchanging.
In non-festivity related news, I am full blown lactose intolerant now. Also, meat makes my guts hurt every single time I eat it. So I guess I'm on the verge of being de facto vegan. I don't particularly like eggs. I do like butter and it doesn't seem to bother my stomach, and I can't give up cream in my coffee. I dunno, life changes are fun. Now that I have a sick red mixing machine I can make hummus at home and such. And pie. God damn do I love pie.

Hey, thanks love. It actually didn't occur to me that I've worried some folks- for some reason I just assume nobody gives a shit anymore. Of course, it's possible that it's only you who does, but even if that's true, I'm still grateful. Thank you, and happy new year to you as well.
