I feel pickled. I need to get a ton of sleep and not go out or drink for at least a couple days. I have a friend in town from LA next week though so that's probably not happening.

I went to this weird club thing last night with Taye and a few other SGs. It was fun dancing all night, and we had this little VIP area and a free bottle of gin. But a lot of the guys were just super gross and scummy. Sometimes people's expectations of us as Suicidegirls are so out there. I'm not much of a club person usually; I'm more into bars. I don't like how club DJs mix the songs so only a chorus or two of any one song plays. I would rather hear the whole thing. The club scene is so different from the bar scene. I don't think I would go to one that I had to wait in line for and pay to get in, but some people really like them. I also can't imagine paying hundreds of dollars for bottle service.

In other news my company is doing layoffs next week. I'm 99% sure I'm not getting laid off, but I will be really sad if other people go. Not the best time to be a company in R&D. We have almost no revenue. I hope not too many people get axed.

Thanksgiving was fun, I guess. I do not like holidays but this one was comparatively simple and low-key. I am going to try to not go home for Christmas though. It depresses me immensely.
