So. My job apparently now consists of one delivery a week. Which gets me 3 hours last week and just under 2 this week. after taxes, almost enough for a tank of gas.

a strange similarity has carried over from year to year. this year hasn't started out so well and yes i know it's still early. my resolution will be the same as last year and the year before, to not be alone and to get better.

its strange, but this is the first year it hasn't felt like Christmas to me. I'd actually forgotten about it up until winter break started. Even now, after setting up a tree and decorating it something is off. Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I'm gonna drive up to your place around 1:30/2pm. So yes. My flight isn't till 11:30pm. You'll be sick of me by the time we have to go to the airports.
It's so unbelievably nice to talk to someone so far away and hear their voice and have it feel like everything is normal. But then there's the saying goodbye, and the not knowing when you'll be able to talk again. Ouch.

Well, if my experiences were anything like what he's got right now, there will be something closer to a routine when everyone gets all situated in wherever his final destination is.
When I was in Germany, Qatar, and Balad, I couldn't really get in touch with home. Once I settled in in Radwaniyah, I was good.
