Friday morning of a busy busy weekend. I found a pretty good hairstylist. Marie at Sugar is great and fast. Almost too fast. I'm used to a stylist taking his or her time with a pair of scissors and carefully snipping away until they get the balance right. Marie took fifteen minutes and hacked out a great cut. Whatever, it works.
No progress on the tattoo. I need to do it soon before we move to our new apartment. My room mate and I found a super fly 3 story duplex here in Silver Lake. It's a little more than I can afford but the amount of space and location are fucking rad. Three decks!
I went to check out the bikes available at Coco's. They refurbish old rides which is awesome. It saves a bike from taking up landfill space and the bikes have a unique charm to them. The problem is that they cost as much or even more than a new bike at Target. The ones I was checking out at Coco's were $150-200. I saw one that will do what I need it to do for $60 at Target. I want to do the right thing and buy from a local small business but man, money's tight for the next few months.
Restarting WoW and getting into Magic Online isn't going to be helping the financial situation either. Geeky money sinks, that's the story of my life.
Anyhow, we get a half-day at work every other Friday until the end of summer. Fuuuuck yeah. I love this job. I'm bailing early to pack and drive down to San Diego to see my folks and attend a wedding. A wedding where the only person I'll know is the bride. Not really looking forward to it but I can at least dig some books and knitting crap out of storage.
