I have food now. Not as much rice diet.
Kate and I saw Bad Education last night and I must recomend it highly. I also recommend not reading anything about it. I'll tell you this. No full frontal nudity. homosexual encounters check. I think is is great for a number of differnt reason but especially because I can feel the director.
TFP bits coming slowly. I might write most of it myslef though I had hoped for a team thing. is it practice or fantasy.
Kate and I walked around town and discussed/disected the life and style of an artist/being realistic. It was interesting but a biut of a stalemate. I like being in the know. I hope that isn't a crime. Is it lame to get a a little joy when you know the graffiti artists who have bombed the entire city?
Later last night we visited with my fried Bill and then brought along Sharon(da). I'm glad Kate got to hang out with all of them but on the other hand I would have rather gone to bed earlier that 4 . Kate had to leave at 830. she is a trooper.
She also might be a writer. I made her promise if she gets more famous than me to buy me food. she found that sad.
But I really do think shes got some of the writer elements. you know;

The political philosopher, Hannah Arendt, was born in Hanover, Germany, in 1906, the only child of secular Jews. During childhood, Arendt moved first to Knigsberg (East Prussia) and later to Berlin. In 1922-23, Arendt began her studies (in classics and Christian theology) at the University of Berlin, and in 1924 entered Marburg University, where she studied philosophy with Martin Heidegger. In 1925 she began a romantic relationship with Heidegger, but broke this off the following year. She moved to Heidelberg to study with Karl Jaspers, the existentialist philosopher and friend of Heidegger. Under Jasper's supervision, she wrote her dissertation on the concept of love in St. Augustine's thought. She remained close to Jaspers throughout her life, although the influence of Heidegger's phenomenology was to prove the greater in its lasting influence upon Arendt's work."

I never implied they should let the woman continue to live in that state. Nor did I ever say that there was any hope of recovery.
All I was saying is that she DOES react to her environment in a very limited way, which would imply that there is something, however limited, going on in her brain. Starving her to death is a shitty way to end it.
I think she should be allowed to die - but NOT by starving her to death. If by some chance (and you and I have no clue - nor does any doctor. Remember - doctors are educated in Statistics, nothing more) she can feel things, even in the limited sense of a non-sentient animal, then it's nasty cruel to do so.
THAT is all I was saying.
