I'd been too long on the road. I couldn't remember the last time I'd settled down somewhere. Maybe I never had. And so I found myself in the dusty little town of Phoenix, Arizona. I'd been passin' through, onmy way out west, when I stopped to handle some business. I hadn't meant to stay more han a day. But fate had its own plans for me, as fate often does. So my day in this little 1 horse town turned into what's lookin like a week. I had an appointment with the Senators office. Senator McCain that is. There'd been some fellows what owed me money. If their was to be any money changin' hands in this neighborhood, the good Senator was the man to talk to. But as long as I was stuck here, I figured on takin' advantage. A warm place to lay ma' head, 'N a hot meal a day, to fil ma' bellly...

So, yeah. I'm still in Phoenix. I had my flight pushed back till Nov 3rd. Which blows, because my Halloween crap is in LA. So I'm gonna have to see if I can find like a UPS outfit or something to complete the costume.
I called up La Ofecina Del Senator McCain today. Told 'em about the military screwin me out of 1800 smackers, and me wanting to press charges. They told me to drop by and they'd help me cut through the red tape. I figured McCain was a wiser choice than going through California, because he's done a lot to hook up veterans, plus I was an AZ resident whenI enlisted. So here I am!
In the meantime, I'v been doing a lot of sleeping. I've got enough cash to pay next monthes rent. The cash the military owes me ought to pay my bills. But I've got to find something to do in November, so I can afford first & last months rent at my new place. So I'm looking into startingthe EMT gig early while I'm here. Otherwise I'm going to have to make phone calls out the ass, and maybe even go on Craigslist or Mandy.com. I hope it doesn't come to that.
Sooooooo.... No real news here. My mom's still trying to get me to go vegetarian. I don't forsee that as happening. Ummmmm.... so yeah. Talk to ya later.
