I lied. I didn't leave Phoenix until today. But I'm back in NoHo now. I hate it when people say that. NoHo. It's kind of annoying. Like when people say 'summer' when they really mean vacation. Not that I hear that a lot. But I can just picture Martha Stuart saying it. Then I picture her being stabbed with a shiv, and I laugh. Is that wrong?

I hung out with Sam (my roomate/ old friend) and his girlfriend at her place this afternoon. Sam said to ride down with them, but I thought it best to drive seperate. Sam always wonders why I won't just ride with them, and every time Im like, ummm, so I can leave early. Then he wants to know why I would want to leave early. No Sam, the question is why would YOU want me to leave early dumbass. So, I left early, and now here I am. Heather (by process of elimination, you can conclude who that is) made me borrow her DVD of Gothica before I left. Then she went on about what a twist it had. Twenty minutes into it I'm thinking, hey, it's Stir of Echos with the plot changed around a little. Plus they got a better looking Kevin Bacon. No offense to Kevin, he's not a bad looking guy. But 'guy' is the operative word here.

So now I'm here. In front of the computer. No longer on vacation, but still on vacation time. I called up Hallmark and some guy asked what it was about. I told him it was for the medic position. He seemed confused at first, then he says, 'Well, I'm Tony, the medic coordinator, so you can send a resume to me I guess." This was not good. Tony is the guy they want to fire and replace with me. I said Uhhh, yeah, Ill fax it to you. I think he assumed I was just some random guy calling for a job.

Tommorow is DMV day. I should bring some paper so I can play ticktacktoe against myself. Maybe the guy next to me will play me in hangman. Or he'll just grit his teeth and let out a gutteral growl when I try to talk to him. With my luck, I'll get the guy who can unhinge his jaw, and I'll find myself without a head. I'm ure I could still function. I don't get along well with my brain anyway.

Well, gotta go to bed. I must be rested and prepared if I'm to face the DMV tommorrow. Wills shall be tested. Alliances- formed, and broken. Spirits- shattered. And then I'll get to the front of the line. And the real challenge will begin.
