so we're finally done with crazy work schedules... I CAN READ WEBCOMICS AGAIN!
This weekend was pretty cool. A bunch of my friends and I got together on Saturday night for a send off party for my friend Paul. He's going back to merry ol' england to continue his education at Oxford or some such school. We all got shitfaced and obnoxiously loud. Although we didn't get any noise complaints, which is kinda' strange.
Sunday I had to roll out of bed with a gigantic hangover to go to my little sister's 7th birthday party. 4 hours in the hot sun, surrounded by 7 year old girls who giggle incessantly while hungover is not something I would wish on anyone. Luckily my brother was there to save the day with his 2oz flask of Crown Royal, but not before I was roped into being the cook/videographer/drummer-for-the-hula-dancer-we-hired-last-minute.
After that ordeal I went home, only to be pulled over by the Palos Verdes police.... assholes. Out of the handful of times I've ever been pulled over for something, over half of them have been in Palos Verdes. I guess I'm not rich enough to hang in that area.
Monday was my productive day. I finally got my car registration up to date (3 months after the fact), and I got 4 WHOLE LOADS OF LAUNDRY DONE! So that night I went out with Ryan to see the StarFuckers again to celebrate my productiveness.
Tonight I'm going back to the Lighthouse here in Hermosa to go see a bunch of local acts play, if anyone's in the area and wants to hang out you know where I'll be!
