wow... prestige brand alcohol REALLY sucks. 
just kickin' it before new years begins... I think my friends and I are going downtown to the bars and make asses out of ourselves. At least that's my plan.
I'm at the point where I believe that there's not enough alcohol in the state of Alaska to get me drunk to the point that I would want to stay here another day. This town sucks. All the parties I've been to have been 5 people sitting around watching movies or playing video games. No one DOES anything around here. It's upsetting to say the least.
I finally redeemed my grandmother's gift card at Barne's and Noble today. I got the Battle Royale novel my friend Mike told me about. As well as Isacc Adamson's new novel Kinki Lullaby. His Tokyo Suckerpunch was good, but not great, so I'm hoping his 3rd attempt at writing will show some improvement.
I also ordered the two disk special edition of Ichi the Killer by Takeshi Miike, but I have to wait 3 - 8 days before it'll be here.
Dammit.
