So I sent out over 150 emails to music post production facilities in LA yesterday looking for work. So far, all the responses have been mostly negative, but there have been a few people who've offered to meet with me when I get down to LA. Well, that's about 10 responses from the whole lot of them.... I'm hoping something will turn up.
Other than that, I just shipped the first 13 of my boxes down to LA. It was mostly done as media mail because they're all books and sheet music. I love media mail... it ships for $.50 a pound!... wait a minute.
My final total was about $160... so at $.50 a pound - that means I just shipped like 300lbs of books.... damn. And that's not all of them. I've still got about 2 or 3 more boxes.
Whew... I never realize how much crap I have until I try and move somewhere.

When I moved back from NY it was through movers and all books! That shit is expensive!!!
