THE WEATHER HERE SUCKS MORE THAN ANYTHING HAS EVER SUCKED BEFORE..... EVER!!!
AND THAT INCLUDES THE HOLOCAUST!
it got all warm on us for no apparent reason... so now instead of snowing... IT'S FUCKING RAINING!!!
rain + ice on the roads = ain't goin' nowhere!
I went outside to try and help my stepdad get his truck parked because he couldn't make it up the hill to our house... although on the way DOWN the hill, I couldn't stand for more than 2 seconds before sliding 15 feet down the road. seriously...
on the way back UP the hill, I got stuck in a neighbor's driveway for 4 minutes while I tried to walk up the slight incline... it's like walking on a skating rink covered in grease while wearing slippy-shoes...
they make those don't they? slippy shoes?
anyway.. all I know is this icy conditions thing is shit. Although, now I don't have to go to Masterpieces of World Lit tonight. Which is good, seeing as how I haven't read the whole assignment yet...
OH NOES! THE BOOK IS IN MY MOM'S CAR AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY!!!!!!

so yeah, I'm still alive people.
I've been working my ass off for school, writing a multitude of reports and essays... however I have the next week "off," as I don't have anything due, although I'm still going to have to work on stuff due the week after. So I have a little break finally.
So what's new?
Nothing new here. Just reading the hell outta' Voltaire, which I'm done with finally. Now I've started reading Kipling, Poe, and The Epic of Gilgamesh. So hurray for school!
Plus I finally got to sit down and read some H. P. Lovecraft for the first time this week. I figured I owed myself some time to just read something NOT related to one of my classes. I'm really digging his stuff so far. It's all short stories, but it's nice because I can finish one or two before I head to bed at night, and still get the impact instead of waiting for everything to be resolved night after night with a full length novel. Tasty.
Anyway... I started therapy for my craziness... and it's cool so far. I've got an appointment with a hospital on the 15th for a physical examination to see if I need to be on any kind of medication or whatever. Hurray for better living through chemistry.

Oh... I saw Beautiful Creatures again last night... I forgot how good that movie is. Go see it right now... then hug your mother.
