well this last week has been rather interesting.
I started work last Friday, and so far the job is awesome. All I do is update their databases while they try and switch their inventory system from an Excel spreadsheet to a new fancy barcode system. They have a buttload of cell phones that they check out to their developers and testers, so a barcode system will make it easier to figure out who has what and where everything is.
Then after hanging out with my brother in Torrance, I went to stay with my friend Mike, who lives a block or two away from my job in Venice. We went out Sunday night to go check out a bar down the street called "Good Hurt". It was pretty cool, live bands and stuff, but Mike wasn't digging it so we left early. On the way back to his place we remembered that we left his keys in the apartment, so we had to break into his place by him climbing on my shoulders and hopping up to his veranda. Fun times.
Other than that I've been shitting myself over this asian market that's right down the street from his place. It's got CALPICO! mmmm. Plus it has everything you could ever want... bento bowls, frozen pork buns, shabu-shabu ingredients.... FUCKIN' EVERYTHING! amazing.
Plus Mike just bought a new game called Guitar Hero... it rocks. It's an american version of Guitar Mania from Japan. It even comes with a guitar controller that you use to play the songs... I've been playing that non-stop since he got it. So much fun it should be illegal.
anyway... I'm feeling a bit sick and tired.. so I'm going to go now.
